ABOUT WILLIAM

William was introduced to golf at an exceptionally young age by his father, who trained him. Carlo himself is an excellent golfer having won several tournaments on different circuits. While still young, he was noted for his talents in golf and as a hockey player.

While he was an amateur, he won several tournaments at the provincial level and managed to stand out internationally finishing a 3rd place at the Junior Masters in Las Vegas. William turned professional in 2015, at the age of 18. Named athlete of the year (all sports categories combined) at the end of his college studies at Lionel Groulx College, he was drafted by a French professional hockey team, putting his professional golf career on hold for a while.

Back in Quebec to finish his university studies, he earned his bachelor's degree in administrative sciences at UQTR. Then he returned to the golf. Last year, William began a return to competitive golf. He resumed training during the summer and the winter, accompanied by his new coach, Louis Bourgeois, one of the most renowned in Quebec.

He now considers himself a complete player, ready to play at a higher level. He believes that his offensive instincts and the quality of his swing and his game in general will allow him to perform on a higher level circuit.
